Absolutely stunning work. For something that started out as a sketch, this is something that I personally would like to see placed in a frame and hung somewhere really predominate in my living room. That clear and icy look within his eyes almost brings Byakuya alive in my mind.

As a fan of detail, I sound like I am beating a dead horse with saying this, but the structure of his hair and the quality of work done to each strand was probably a labour of love that I couldn't help to marvel of for a few moments. However, what I found sold the image to me, in terms of detail, is that you went far enough to place teeth within the slight purse of his lips which I find to be a nice touch that just finishes him off.

I am pleased to have seen this and hope to see more in the future. Thanks for sharing... ^_^

An absolutely awesome piece of artwork worthy of downloading. This attention to detail shows amazing talent and perseverance that shows the reasons behind why it was a highlighted item.

I am very impressed. Keep up the excellent work you're doing - you're onto something real special... ^_^

f

Perfect balance between the light and dark sides of the image - they all blend in very well. I especially love the black feathers that blend in and out of the foreground. A very nice touch.

This was definitely a labour of love, and it shows.

Thank-you for making it for your friend, and sharing it with us.

Hmmm... chocolate... nough said.

Thank-you for sharing... ^_^

A real peaceful image to ponder over. Remind's me that I should go outside and take a breath of fresh air every once and a while during this dastardly cold...

Thank-you for sharing it with us.

I don't know whether it's just my eyes or not, but it seems a little on the blurry side. But, I don't mind, as long as there is something large that'll go boom! Then again, I would be worried if someone with a personality like Haruhi was in the control of something as explosive as that... o_o

Thanks for sharing it with us... ^_^

f

What an awesome array of colours, lights and effects. I am blown away by the sheer natural feeling I get every time I look at this image ((Currently is my backdrop)).

Thank-you for sharing it with us all. I hope others find it as intriguing to look at as I do.

Damn... just... damn... o_o

What a piece of art... What a beautiful rendition of Baiken... What a... just... damn man... o_o

Thank your friend for her hard work, and thank-you for sharing it with us!

f

This suites I-no to a tee. Perfect colour combinations, and use of effects.

Definitely download worthy!

f

Very nice. Granted the use of fire naturally makes me very biased... because fire is good...

Thanks for sharing! ^_^

f

I am liking lots. I love the way that her cold and almost emotionless facial expressions are backed up by the cold and equally emotionless colours used in the backdrop.

Kudos indeed.

Thanks for sharing! ^_^

Very interesting... The more I look into Fate/Stay Night the more interested I become.

Thanks for sharing and stirring more interest into this awesome looking series... ^_^

f

That would be so interesting to see in action. Thinking of the quips and arguments from either side reminds me of another crossover I stumbled across a few years ago.

Download worthy just for the sheer humor value!

Thanks for sharing! ^_^

f

That is some amazing work there. I'm really impressed, not just because I have found rare images of Baiken that I actually like this much, but because this one has a wow factor I can't quite put into words that would do it justice.

So I'll just say thank you for your hard work, and for sharing.

f

Amazing image! It instantly replaces my current backdrop and I hope that it stays that way for a while.

Nice and bright. Clear resolutions and nice lighting.

Thanks for sharing it with us!

Clamp always produces some amazing animation and images, and this image is no different.

Thank-you for sharing it with us.

f

That is just amazing. Got home from work and found that incredibly relaxing. There is nothing more relaxing than the never-ending ocean. The one thing that reminds me of that picture is standing at 90 Mile Beach at Cape Reinga at the very North of New Zealand and staring into the vast oceans that combine at that one point.

Thank-you for sharing and making my night much brighter.

f

On my first glance, and to my almost delight, that almost looked like Ignis from NITRO+'s Jingai Makyo ('Ash and Bones, City of Evil'), but it was not to be... but I am very happy with this image all the same ((I instantly put it as my backdrop [killing my previous one of three weeks in the process]))

I would really like to know where this comes from, as I am in a hunting mood now...

Thanks for sharing and getting me interested in finding something new to hunt down... ^_^

f

Very nice piece of work. It is always good to submit things that you don't like, so that you may hear the creative comments from viewers and people who are interested in sharing their thoughts over what you have done. I find that if I submit something I am unhappy about, and listening to the feedback I get often helps me improve on the long term things that I aim for.

It especially helps when you're a writer, since when I read my stuff over and over again it starts to lose its magic, and I tend to hate it more. That's why writers have editors... perhaps I should get one... ^_^

Anyway, to comment on the image a little more - the effects that have her blending into the mist/fog/sparkle is extremely well executed, with the blood effects on the bottom half of her skirt almost seeming to belong there, along with most of the droplets on her arm and face. So, not all is lost with using that technique. However, the one thing that I must comment on that detracts from this image the most - is your signature on a black background.

That effect is usually done in the IT/Presentation industry to attract a readers/viewers attention to a certain heading, or title. In this case, it instantly catches my eye every time I look at the image as I tend to think it is the title, or a caption, to ad to the image. Though it is absolutely fine to want people to know you made the image and for people not to steal your work after the fact, but the signature is best left as something people go to find somewhere on the image after they have viewed the work.

All up, though, it is a fine image that will be a pleasure to look at every time my screen saver's image scroll goes through its merry, random, cycle. Thank-you for sharing... ^_^

f

All your hard work definitely payed off, as this image caught my eye as I was going around the front page of MT. The concept of placing her over the city with the mist behind her payed off as it seems to emphasize the caption hidden within the mist.

Although I do not know the plot from where this image comes, the caption and the idea presented in the image makes me think that the entire city is her target, or since she is on high she is like a hawk in the essence that she hunts her prey from on high.

At any rate, it is definitely download worthy, and I'm glad I caught it. Thanks for sharing... ^_^

f

Caught my eye on the front page. I'm very glad I caught it.

High quality scan, without any imperfections from first glance.

Thanks for sharing! ^_^

f

I love the idea of having her up-side-down. You don't see many backdrops where the main focus of attention is up-side-down. However, I can't say I have seen everything out there just yet.

Thanks for your hard work - and sharing!

f

Woah, now I gotta admit that introduces an interesting concept to me.

It definitely has caught my eye enough for me to download now.

Thanks for sharing.

f

Yeah... gotta be careful with Etna! She is probably one of the most volatile characters I have ever encountered ((next to Kanami and Sousuke's interactions)), and that's from just having watched the trailer for the Anime.

Prinny's rock! Disgaea rocks, and I can't wait until I can get my hands on it.

Thanks for sharing!
